Early years

Ezio Testa was born in Piacenza, an Italian province located about an hour south of Milan. He grew up on a farm in Fiorenzuola d’Arda, a berg in rural northern Italy.

Ezio Testa was married in 1976. He and his wife have one child, a son. He is conversant in several languages, including English, Turkish and Italian; moreover, he can speak portions of several other languages. He has traveled all over the world.

He attended public schools in Fiorenzuola d'Arda, and he later attended the Technical Institute of Tramello, an impressive Italian engineering school, and he graduated with a degree in civil engineering.

Logistics and Supply Expert

He has become a leading expert in logistics and supplies in the international business world. His background includes working in the mid 70s with an Italian pipeline company; in that capacity, he was very involved in the construction of a major oil pipeline between Iraq and Turkey.

In the late 1970s, Mr. Testa joined a European construction giant named Torno, which at the time ranked as the 12th largest construction company in Europe. Torno had global reach, and he was quickly promoted.

There, he was asked to lead several corporate business functions.

Over the years, Ezio Testa’s innovative approach has saved his companies and his clients millons of dollars. He has solved large-scale construction problems for dams, roads and bridges.

From 1997 until 2006, he served as head of a subsidiary of Torno called IHC Services, a logistics and supply company that represented manufacturers. Under his tenure, IHC Services often contracted with governmental entities and NGOs.

Today Ezio Testa heads GLS, a services-and-solutions-based company located in New York. He specializes in supply and complex logistics. He is a valued resource to several large and small organizations.
